ecostore USA had a booth in downtown Birmingham, MI on
Saturday, June 6 at their first Green Breeze event.
More than 40 eco-minded vendors were invited to share their
green businesses with the community. For two weeks I had been studying
the weather hoping for a great day.
The day was perfect and we were able to share ecostore
with many people. It is always fun to hear the thoughts and
comments of the "greeen" shopper. So many of you had seen Malcolm Rands on television or in the
paper during Earth Month. Everyone loves Ecoman!
What I found to be intriguing were the amount of fellas who
stopped by the booth.
At first I thought
that it was just my adorable babysitter who was drawing all the attention (she
will kill me for this) but listening to the guys discuss their eco thoughts I
realized that we had not been giving the men their due.
Eco Daddys rock! And guess what? Many of them
are even doing the laundry. They are also actively involved in the
discussions about using safer products for their family and for the
planet. This is a new family dynamic that is going on around the country.
And we certainly approve.
I thought that the timing was perfect with Father's Day
around the corner to do an Eco Daddy Giveaway on our Facebook page.
I am also inviting Dads to send in their thoughts to us
and share with us your Family Eco Action Plan.
And please welcome the thoughts of our first Dad Guest
Blogger.

This is such a Great Idea!! My husband is so much better at laundry than me, it's not even funny!! Thanks for everything, visiting from 5 Vinez Monkey.

I'm amazed at the number of men that stopped at your booth regarding eco. We need to give Men credit for wanting to help keep our family safe from toxic cleaning products!
I'm visiting from 5 Vinez Monkey. Thanks!
