My dad, he was green before it was cool or some trendy word. I cannot go into all the details because it would take FOREVER but Don Appel was into living right. From as far back as I can remember, he played tennis and skied because it was healthy, fun and it felt good to do something physical. He did not do it to fit in, look good or impress others. He walked; hiked, owned horses (even rode them once in awhile). Dad is 82 and still active both physically and mentally.
He loves ecostore USA. Everyday I receive endless emails from him directing our team on marketing, PR, new products to try, products to eliminate and everything on the topic green, healthy and eco-friendly.
Today, Dad sent me an interesting article that discusses big companies moving forward with full disclosure of ingredients. We wanted to share it with our readers and get some feedback from you, our readers on your feelings. Is this enough to just disclose the ingredients or is it green washing?
We are proud to say that from day one we have offered full ingredient disclosure on both our website and labels; and our MSDS sheets are listed online as well.
Thanks dad---you did great this time. Love you lots!!!

I am also from Mrs. B's blog. I ADORE your products and can't wait to give them a try. I've been on a several month search for a cruelty free, chemical free shampoo and conditioner.
I was wondering if your products helped with calming down frizz at all? We suffer from dandruff, oily hair and Scottish frizz, what a combo!

I also came from Mrs. B.'s page.
I hadn't looked at your store before today, but it looks fantastic! And after reading this post I'm guessing that your dad is the inspiration (or part of the inspiration) for your store? :)

Hi, came here from Mrs. B's page. Your products look great and she gave the shampoo and conditioner a great review.
I like what you say about the ingredients. I don't much care if a big company does it, because most of the ingredients are chemicals that I wouldn't understand anyway. So no, it does not impress me that they are planning this. But on the other hand when companies say they are "all natural" I do want full disclosure to see if that's true or not.
