EcoSize Me: Check Them Out

ecostore USA as you know is a Michigan based company so when we heard about Ecosizeme on the local news our ears perked up.  We have had it rough here these last few years in Michigan so it is really important to support each other.  After you read what Tracy so kindly says about her experience with our products check out her website and what her team is doing. 

Ecosize Me is a Michigan-based company dedicated to providing quality environmental education programs and services. Environmentalists, Tracy Purrenhage and Juli Kushel developed Ecosize Me to simplify the “green” process and guide you with environmental education programs and services. The assemblies and presentations are geared toward schools and community groups with topics that focus on teaching others how to live and be green.

The Ecosize Me blog is a compilation of simple and practical suggestions, ideas and thoughts for changing our environment one person, one small step at a time.
We like to share with you things that we find that are environmentally worthwhile. Sometimes they are things. And sometimes, they are places, people, stores or websites or blogs.

"I first learned about Ecostore USA back in July. Lyne, who is VP of Operations for Ecostore USA, contacted me after she saw our segment on Fox 2 News. She felt there was a definite synergy between Ecostore USA and Ecosize ME. And, I'm so glad that she reached out to us.

I placed an order for some of their No Nasty Chemicals products. It was the least I could do reciprocate Lyne's effort in contacting Ecosize Me. It was also a good opportunity to follow through on my Earth Day Resolutions. My initial order with Ecostore USA consisted of the Auto Dish Powder ($12), the Lemon Rinse Aid ($5.50) and the Laundry Liquid ($11). The quickest, best review I can give all three products is this: If I didn't know that I was using "green" products, I would have never known the difference! That for me is a great thing! Once I find a product that works and that I like, it's very dificult for me to make a change. I am always skeptical that the "other" products will not be able to measure up to my favorites.

The environmental benefits are added bonuses to the effectiveness of the Ecostore USA products. I don't worry about the environmental problems I'm contributing to or question the safety of my family's health when I use these products. I know they are safe for my family and the environment."

I'm Gawky Green, a Guest Blogger

I'm no green expert. Environmentalist, hippie, green guru? Not me.

But I must admit, I am the co-author of a green blog: Two Girls Go Green. Okay, okay. Let me explain.

I find the green world to be somewhat intimidating with all its who's-its and what's-its. Where do you begin? At what point do you stop? Who do you go to for guidance? And will I really have to give up my favorite brand of chocolate milk? Or say adios to those killer boots I've been saving up for?

The questions are endless. So that's why I busted out my green alter ego, Gawky Green, and started documenting my journeys of becoming eco-friendlier along with my pal.

We want to do what we can, when we can, while still remaining true to our inner selves. The blog has become a gathering point and satirical outlet for your everyday person who is trying to make sense of the green world. It's a personal touch.

So that's my little story. When I'm not blogging it up behind my Mac screen (or doing my "real" job), I'm most likely traveling to foreign places, eating yummy foods, laughing out loud, collecting thimbles, hanging out with amigos, volunteering, dancing by myself, studying Portuguese or doing some random art project involving recycled goods.
